How Friend Battle Works — 3 Simple Steps

1

Create a Private Room

Hit the "Create a Room" button and a unique private battle room is generated instantly. No accounts, no lobbies, no waiting. Your room is ready in under a second.

2

Send the Link to Your Friend

Copy the room link and send it to whoever you want to destroy — WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, text message, carrier pigeon, whatever. When they open the link, they'll land right in your room. No codes to type, no rooms to search.

3

Battle! — 30 Seconds of Pure Rivalry

Once you're both in, the webcams connect, the countdown starts, and it's 30 seconds of all-out arm speed chaos. You see their face. You hear their voice. You watch their score in real time. There's nowhere to hide when you're battling someone who knows your name.

Why Battling Friends Hits Different

💬

Real Trash Talk

Voice chat is on. You'll hear every gasp, every excuse, and every "wait that doesn't count." Strangers are polite. Friends are ruthless. That's the whole point.

Friendships tested daily

One Link, Zero Friction

No room codes. No lobbies. No "which server are you on?" Just create a room, send the link, and your friend is in. Works on desktop, laptop, and mobile. The simplest invite system possible.

Share link, start fighting
🏆

Bragging Rights Are Forever

Beat a stranger and they disappear. Beat your friend and you can bring it up at every dinner, party, and group chat for the rest of time. The score doesn't lie and neither will you.

🔄

Instant Rematch

Lost? Hit "Battle Again" and you're right back in the same room with the same friend. No re-sharing links. No re-matching. Just pure "best 2 out of 3" energy that turns into "best 7 out of 13."

Nobody stops at one round
🔒

100% Private

Video streams peer-to-peer between you and your friend. No server records anything. When you close the tab, the room disappears forever. Your embarrassing loss exists only in human memory.

What happens in the room stays in the room
🌍

Works Across the Globe

Your friend can be in the next room or on the other side of the planet. As long as you both have a webcam and internet, the battle is on. Distance is no excuse.

Geography can't save them

Perfect For…

🏢

Office Competitions

Slack the link to your coworker. Settle who's actually the fastest in the office without leaving your desk. HR-approved fun. Probably.

📱

Group Chat Dares

Drop the link in your group chat and watch everyone scramble. "I bet I can beat you" messages have never been easier to back up — or get destroyed by.

🎬

Streamer Collabs

Two streamers, one link, one winner. Create a room, share the link on Discord, and let your audiences watch the chaos unfold in real time. Content gold.

Frequently Asked Questions

Click "Create a Room" and you'll get a unique link. Send that link to your friend through any messaging app. When they open it, they'll automatically join your room. No codes, no accounts needed.
No — each room is a 1v1 battle. If you want to run a tournament with multiple friends, create separate rooms for each matchup. The bracket is on you, but the battles are on us.
The room stays active for about 2 minutes. Once both players join, it stays alive through the battle and any rematches. If nobody joins for a while, the room closes and you'd need to create a new one.
Yes! After a battle, both players see a "Battle Again" button. If both accept, you go right back into the same room for another round. No need to re-share links or re-setup anything.
No. Video and audio stream directly between you and your friend via WebRTC peer-to-peer. Our server only handles room coordination and score sync — it never sees your camera feed. When the battle ends, nothing is saved anywhere.
Some network configurations (strict firewalls, certain mobile carriers) can block peer-to-peer video. If this happens, the game will still work for scoring — you just won't see each other's video. Try switching from mobile data to WiFi if you have issues.
Same gameplay, same video, same scoring — the only difference is how you connect. Random Battle Mode matches you with a stranger. Friend Battle lets you create a private room and invite a specific person via link. The actual battle experience is identical.
Completely free. No signup, no login, no paywall. Create rooms, battle friends, rematch endlessly — all free. The only cost is your pride when you lose.
